THE PANTANAL

THE PANTANAL
The Pantanal is located in the heart of South America in the states of Mato Grosso and Mato Grosso do Sul in Brazil. The Pantanal is the largest wetland area in the world, surrounded by Cerrado and Chaco biomes and the Amazon biome to the north. This Pantanal is severely threatened by climate change and habitat destruction from the cattle and agricultural industries intent on burning and clearing the natural habitat that is critical for the Pantanal's survival.
